About The Library
The central library of Narayana Engineering College, Gudur is air conditioned information centre house in CV Raman Block Second floor with carpet area of about 530 Sqm, with a seating capacity of 250.
It has 25761 volumes with 4660 titles and 201 most useful and special rare books for reference.
It subscribed 67 National print journals, 09 International Print Journals and 20 Magazines and consists more than 1000 project reports of UG and PG Students of the campus.
Library activities have been computerized using in-built online software and using Barcode system for the Circulation of books.
To meet ever growing necessity of the latest resources in engineering, digital library was established with 21 systems.
It consists of two 6 TB Hard Discs NPTEL Lecturers and SONET CD’s for various subjects.
As e-resources IEEE-ASSP Online, DELNET, world e-book library, under JNTUA Consortium KNIMBUS are subscribed. The most popular free online National Digital Library (NDL) is also accessing by the central library.
To know the information regarding new arrivals, user’s status and material details OPAC system is available.
To watch live technical channels by Swayam Prabha, having AUDIO VISUAL THEATRE (AV THEATRE) with Jumbo screen projector with 30 seating capacity.
CC Camera system is also arranged in the central library to view the overall usage.
